Teaching Programmes

The training programme runs three small group teaching programmes:

Trainees in their first GP post

Meet on a Tuesday afternoon at Pinderfields where the focus of the sessions will be on consultation skill development.

Trainees in hospital posts

Trainees in hospital posts are split into two groups - Groups A and Group B. There is a teaching session every Thursday for the whole day. Group A meets one week and Group B the following week.

The teaching takes place at Kings Medical Centre, Normanton or Adlwalton Surgery, Drighlington. Click below for:

Trainees in ST3

Meet on a Tuesday afternoon and the focus of the sessions will be on CSA preparation. This year there are 54 trainees in ST3 and we have divided the year into two groups, Group A and Group B. Group A meets at Kings Medical Centre, Normanton and Group B at Adlwalton Surgery, Drighlington. Click below for:
