Vacancies

We have hospital posts on all of the sites of the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust - Dewsbury, Wakefield and Pontefract, and general practice trainee posts in the surrounding areas. The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust commissioned two brand new hospitals at Pontefract and Wakefield (Pinderfields) in 2011. There are currently over 110 doctors training to be GPs on the scheme.

Recruitment for 2011 has now finished. Doctors to our training programme are recruited via the centralised GP recuriting scheme. Applications to start GP training in August 2012 can be made between in late November via the National GP Recruitment Website.
